Pre & Post-Operative Physiotherapy
Ensuring that you are as physically and mentally prepared for your upcoming surgery as possible is of paramount importance to us. It is equally as important to us that you are prepared properly to get back out on the field, court or oval when the time comes. Our physiotherapy service will provide you with personalised rehab guides as well as education both pre and post operatively to dramatically increase your chances of success.
Pre-injury Screening & Sport Team Physiotherapy
Used often during pre-season, a pre-injury screening provides athletes with precious information that can help guide strength and conditioning programs so they get more bang for their buck when training.
Dry Needling
A treatment technique used to quickly improve muscle length and joint range of motion, reduce pain and reduce risk of injury. A favourite choice for many athletes!
Exercise Rehabilitation
The most important aspect required for efficient recovery from injury is a great exercise rehabilitation program.
Our programs are individualised based on your needs and abilities and are continually updated until you have achieved your final goal.
As part of our physiotherapy based exercise programs, you will have access to Mitise Performance Group staff and equipment located in the same facility, and you will be able to book a time with some of Adelaide's great coaches right here in the Mitise Performance Group studio to complete your rehabilitation under supervision (separate costs apply).
Core Strength Training
Often used to improve both acute and chronic lower back pain, a physiotherapy based core strengthening program improves the stability of the trunk during movement, which translates to improved sporting performance, a decreased risk of injury and improved overall physical well being.
